In the multiverse, within a remote world.
Uchiha Madara stood atop a hill, gazing at the primeval forest surrounding him. A thoughtful look filled his eyes.
"So I've arrived in a New World?"
His memories still lingered on what had happened before. He and Shin had originally planned to explore a New World.
Then, without warning, a demon god had descended upon their world. Even recalling that power now made him shudder in fear.
When Shin and Lucifer clashed, they had tried to attack, only to be utterly crushed without suspense. They had nearly been killed in an instant.
If Shin had not reacted quickly and teleported them away, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
"Alas, am I still too weak?"
He sighed inwardly. He rarely sighed, but the gap this time had simply been too vast.
Beside him lay an unconscious man dressed in martial artist's clothing. He was the first person Madara had encountered after arriving in this world. According to the man himself, he was a martial artist.
Of course, Madara knew what martial artists were. Back in the Feng Yun world, he had already experienced the power of martial arts.
At the same time, he keenly sensed the pressure of heaven and earth. It was rejecting him and suppressing his power.
This world seemed unwilling to accept foreign power systems.
Shin had mentioned this during their previous conversations. The power systems throughout the multiverse appeared to differ vastly from one another.
Many worlds naturally suppressed all other forms of power.
The world-transmission altar they had built before, because it carried a branch from the Divine Tree, could display its full power in any world.
But this time, Madara clearly had not
