The old man casually sat down and began chatting about all manner of things, showing no intention of discussing business. Uchiha Madara secretly smiled, knowing that the man was probing his background.
But how shrewd was he? After a round of vague, evasive conversation, not only did the old man fail to obtain any useful information, but quite a bit of his own intelligence had been drawn out instead. Feeling somewhat frustrated, he forced a smile and said, "May I ask what sort of information our honored guest has come to purchase?"
After a pause, he added, "The information sold by our Fine Rain Pavilion is divided into three grades. The first is Heaven-grade, and its price is considerable. Most of it concerns Celestial Phenomenon martial artists. Some intelligence may only be traded to forces close to us who can provide proof; otherwise, we can only express our regrets... The second grade is Earth-grade, covering the secrets of the various prefectures, the distribution of powers throughout the world, and so on... The final third grade is Human-grade, mostly strange tales and unusual events, or information we cannot verify. Though we cannot guarantee complete authenticity, there will certainly be hidden gems among it..."
"What if I want information about the Martial God?"
Uchiha Madara smiled faintly.

The old man was startled, then said, "There are far too many rumors concerning the Martial God.
