As the song ended, "Whereabouts of the Stars" left the boy utterly enchanted. He kept pestering her to play it again. The girl smiled and was about to raise the harmonica to her lips once more when an explosion suddenly rang out from the lonely village entrance.
"There was an explosion at the village entrance! Lots of jaegers are searching for people in the village! They kill everyone they see—run!"
What appeared before the boy's eyes was a silver-haired man holding a sword! He... he was... his sister's boyfriend, Loewe...
"Big Brother Loewe... what... what happened?"
"There's no time to explain. Go!"
Loewe scooped up little Uchiha Madara in one arm and grabbed the hand of the girl who had been playing the harmonica with the other.
"Joshua, Karin! Hurry to the village entrance! They may have already found us. I have to hold them off!"
Loewe swiftly drew his sword and ran toward the village. Uchiha Madara stared blankly at his sister. Karin pulled him along, her expression tense. "Quick, Joshua, listen to Loewe. We're running for the village entrance!"
Before long, they arrived
