Not long ago, Uchiha Madara and Estelle had just visited the mayor's residence.
At the time, they had happened to meet a female student who looked very gentle. She had long hair and a pretty, delicate face. She said she had come to Lorent City for an internship and asked the mayor for assistance.
The mayor had gladly told her which places in the city were short-handed and written her letters of recommendation so she could intern there. The girl had thanked him profusely, looking every bit like a well-bred, proper young lady.
But not long after that encounter at the mayor's residence, the house was robbed, and Uchiha Madara couldn't help linking the two incidents.
"This girl does look like a proper young lady, but does that mean a proper young lady couldn't possibly steal?" Uchiha Madara thought.
"How could that be? If she's a proper young lady, then she must be rich. You'd have to kill me before I'd believe a girl like that had no money at home." Estelle shook her head like a rattle drum. "Joshua, I think you're overthinking this. That young lady can't be a criminal!"
"No. Criminals can disguise themselves too. Dressing that way might have been nothing more than scouting the place." Uchiha Madara still stood by his view. "And even if she really is a proper young lady, there's another possibility: her family may have suddenly fallen on hard times and run into serious financial trouble."
Estelle's life experience was no match for Uchiha Madara's, and she froze at once. "That can happen too?"
Uchiha Madara smiled. "Of course. Do you think every bad person has the words 'bad person' written on their face?"
Of course, all of this was merely speculation. It was impossible to arrest someone based on that
