Misty Canyon lay along East Bose Highway, quite close to Valt Bridge.
It was shrouded in fog all year round, with heavy moisture in the air. The fog here was so dense that visibility did not even reach ten selge (ten meters). Because of the thick mist, it was an ideal place to hide.
Deep within Misty Canyon, layers of fog obscured everything, making it difficult to see the scenery inside. Only vaguely, one could make out what seemed to be a tall cliff, flickering in and out of view.
A green airship flew out of the mist toward the barely visible cliff and entered a huge cave within it.
Gil and Josette stepped down from the airship, followed by a group of sky bandits. Gil turned to them and said, "Rago, take the brothers and relieve the guards in the room where they're being held. Don't let drinking make you neglect your duties."
The sky bandit Rago assured Gil, "We definitely won't drink while on duty! We swear it by the Goddess of the Sky!"
Gil smiled in satisfaction. "I've always trusted you with your work. Thank you, brothers, for following the three of us and enduring all these hardships for so many years. You've truly had it rough."
Rago said, "It wasn't hard. We're willing to follow Big Brother, Second Brother, and the young mistress. It's just... haven't we gone a little too far lately? Back then, even though we were called sky bandits, we only pulled small jobs. We didn't kill people or do anything truly awful. But this time, not only did we steal that enormous septium crystal, we even hijacked a scheduled airship. The queen is bound to turn her sights on us now..."
Gil also felt somewhat uneasy, but he forced down that feeling
