Estelle, a poor student, stared in amazement at the finest academy in the kingdom. The air was steeped in the fragrance of books, and the sound of reading filled the halls, making the place feel wonderfully refreshing. Students in uniform wandered about in twos and threes near the cafeteria and dormitories. Standing beside them, Kloe smiled as she guided the two of them. "It's time to eat now. Why don't we head to the cafeteria and get something?"
"Sure." Estelle rubbed her stomach. "It's been growling for ages. Besides, we can probably hear some of those so-called campus secrets in the cafeteria, right?"
Kloe smiled. "That's right, there are lots of campus secrets! Like ghost stories about the old schoolhouse, candles that light themselves, and all sorts of things. They're really scary!"
Estelle immediately began to tremble.
Uchiha Madara smiled. "Estelle, are you afraid of ghosts?"
Estelle snapped, "What, Bracers aren't allowed to be scared of ghosts? Being afraid of ghosts is perfectly normal, okay? You make it sound like your legs really wouldn't shake if an actual ghost stood in front of you."
Uchiha Madara gave a faint smile. His amber eyes were as distant and lofty as mountain peaks. "To be honest, I'm really not afraid of ghosts. I've even met people far more terrifying than ghosts."
Estelle asked curiously, "Who's this person you're talking about, the one scarier than a ghost? Can you tell us?"
Uchiha Madara said mysteriously, "Want to know? Then come closer..."
Estelle and Kloe leaned closer to Uchiha Madara. Then they suddenly heard him say, "Of course... it's our father!"
Estelle punched Uchiha Madara on the head. "Joshua, have you lost it?! Our father is so kind and gentle. How could he possibly be scarier than a ghost?!"
