Suddenly, a voice far more familiar to Estelle rang in her ears!
How familiar that voice was! They had lived together for five whole years—how could she possibly mistake it!
It was Joshua, the person she had longed for day and night!
But when she turned around, the one who emerged was not Joshua at all, but merely a jaeger...
"Could it be... that I misheard?" Estelle said in astonishment. "But that was clearly his voice!"
The jaeger who had just appeared sneered. "You're having a hard time, aren't you? Let me help you."
Gilbert said coldly, "I don't need your help! How could I possibly lose to a little girl like this?"
The jaeger suddenly sneered. "I wasn't talking to you."
Estelle could not have been more familiar with the move that followed—Black Fang, the ultimate technique capable of bringing down several people in an instant!
Who else could it be but Joshua!
After Uchiha Madara knocked Gilbert down, he removed his helmet and appeared at Estelle's side with his true face revealed...
"Estelle, you're still as reckless as ever."
"Jo... Joshua!" Estelle cried out! How long had she kept those words buried in her heart...? The person she had missed all this time had finally appeared before her. It felt so dreamlike that she could not believe it at once!
"Hehe... You've been doing well. Working as a bracer on your own has made you much more mature..." Uchiha Madara said fondly. "But you're still too reckless. You fell for their trap back at that Ouroboros laboratory."
Estelle said in shock, "Could it be... you knew all along?" She could hardly believe her ears. "You've actually been by my side all this time, haven't you? You've been watching over me!
