Estelle, Uchiha Madara, and the many bracers did not know. They only knew that such a question was most likely connected to humanity's fate.
Humanity had made a tremendous mistake during the Great Collapse 1,200 years ago, and that mistake had continued to this day. As the largest continent on this planet, the Zemuria Continent lay far away from all other continents. Just how far away were those other continents? No one knew. Or perhaps, did other continents even exist? With current technology, none had been discovered.
People had built airships capable of reaching speeds of 3,200 selge per hour, yet even that speed was not enough to leave this continent and fly to another. This planet seemed to be an enormous world without end. At the heart of the Zemuria Continent stood the Arteria Papal State, the center of the Septian Church. Its doctrine contained the following account:
"There are two continents on this planet. Besides the Zemuria Continent, there is another called the Gagharv Continent. The two continents were originally one, but they were torn apart during the Great Collapse 1,200 years ago. Little of the civilization of that time remained here, but there was a wondrous combat art—Shadow Stitching. It had originally been a combat art of the Gagharv Continent, and it had been passed down for more than 1,200 years. Its current inheritor was named Bleublanc."
"The splitting of the two continents represented the grave error humanity had committed at that time. They turned the entire world into ashes and ruins, and all civilization had to be rebuilt. That glorious and ancient civilization had become what people called ancient relics. Some of those ancient orbments still possessed immense power even in the modern age."
