At night, Forte practiced this song over and over. He knew that he had begun to miss his father.
Though his father had already given his approval for him to travel with his grandfather, whenever he played "Sleeping Father," he always thought of his father sleeping and snoring. His father's voice would always echo in Forte's mind, just like every night when he fell asleep to the sound of his snoring.
Forte's mother was also a gentle woman. She loved Forte's father as much as she loved Forte. Their family had been happy and harmonious, but his grandfather was not content with an ordinary happiness. He always liked going out in search of curiosities, trying to find all sorts of wonders he wished to experience.
And Forte especially liked his grandfather, so what could he do? He could only set out with him and travel together.
On this journey, they had seen how strongly this place rejected musical troupes. Whether it was Forte, Una, or McBain, they were all deeply dissatisfied with it. Music was their life.
