Uchiha Madara gathered chakra into his fist and punched the rock. The stone layer cracked apart, and just as Roland had said, a Leonie Resonance Stone lay embedded within it.
"Thank you. This Leonie Resonance Stone is very important to us. It can be used to save the world," Uchiha Madara said. "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have known there was one here."
Roland shook his head. "More than ten years ago, Leonie came here. After burying the Resonance Stone, he told Elisa and me about it. But he never asked us to do anything. He never told us not to tell anyone, nor did he tell us to inform anyone. We asked him what he had placed this thing here for, but he only smiled and said nothing. Perhaps he didn't trust us that much."
Uchiha Madara shook his head. "I don't think it was that he didn't trust you. Rather... perhaps he could no longer control how certain events would unfold. Before, when he entrusted Resonance Stones to others, he gave them instructions."
Roland sighed. "Then perhaps it was as you said. Maybe Mr. Leonie truly no longer wanted to hide anything."
Uchiha Madara suddenly seemed to think of something. "Could it be... that he was already certain he had hidden at least some Resonance Stones in places where he believed no one could ever find them?"
Roland gave a bitter smile. "This thing is useless to me, so how would I know...? Perhaps you should discuss it properly with your friends."
Uchiha Madara nodded. "Thank you, Roland. I'll definitely help you and Elisa get the chance to be together. I have a vague feeling that you'll probably meet again very soon."
Roland patted Uchiha Madara on the shoulder. "It's enough that you have that intention.
