In Gaisag, Uchiha Madara and the others carried out an investigation. It was no simple task, because by this point, the Numenlos Empire had practically become a hostile force in their eyes. Necros was certain to dispatch large numbers of soldiers to search for them, so not only could they not investigate as they pleased, they had to stumble along the whole way like mice fleeing from a cat!
Still, they uncovered a few things:
First, the people did not approve of Necros's actions. Necros was anti-human and went against the will of the people of the Numenlos Empire.
Second, many strong men and laborers in Gaisag had been requisitioned and sent east to Kuka. It was said that there was a wooden soldier factory there, and most of the people in it were strong men conscripted from all across the Numenlos Empire.
Third, Necros and Emperor Razan were most likely in the capital farther east, Rukasus. It was said that a strange creature lived in Rukasus's lake, seemingly a monster Emperor Razan and the others had raised there.
Fourth, Leonie had been transported by ship to Gaisag back then, then taken by land along a long route through the entire Numenlos Empire before finally being delivered to Brodien. There seemed to be Leonie's Ruins south of Kuka.
Although their investigation had been restricted in all sorts of ways, the resourceful McBain Band and Uchiha Madara's group still managed to learn these interesting details. After everyone met up, they unanimously decided that Uchiha Madara would lead the main force to destroy the wooden soldier factory and find out exactly what Necros and the others were trying to do.
