Uchiha Madara and Yerudu arrived at a magic mirror near Tina City.
This was "Shalo," a place of pilgrimage for the witches of the Otherworld throughout the ages. Influenced by such pilgrimages, the custom of pilgrimage had also appeared across the land of Tirasweel.
In Lakubik Village of Falutia, the tradition of pilgrimage had been passed down generation after generation. Men and women who came of age at eighteen had to travel throughout Tirasweel, visit five different Shalos, and witness the future of this world.
Yes, everyone could see a prophecy, and it would present different scenes according to each person's identity and fate. Some would see the profession they would enter in the future, some would see their love, and some extraordinary individuals could even see the future of the world...
Shalo was a kind of "True Ruins."
In El Phildin, such True Ruins was True Island. In the Otherworld, there was another such True Ruins north of Leonie's Cottage.
They were ruins left behind by the Blue People. Across all of Gagharv, even including the Otherworld, there were only seven such places, and Tirasweel alone possessed five of them.
Those who came from the Otherworld on pilgrimage could not alter the future revealed to them by Shalo's magic mirror. However, that future was not certain to happen. It was merely the future most likely to occur in this world, not one that was guaranteed.
If they saw something good, people would naturally strive to make it happen. But if they saw a disaster, they would naturally do everything in their power to avoid it.
But changing fate was easier said than done. Many people saw ominous futures in Shalo, and eight or nine out of ten ultimately came true. Gradually, pilgrimages to Shalo faded away in this world
