Protected by Shalo, Captain Thomas, Mitchell, Yerudu, and the soldier who had guided them all safely avoided Uchiha Madara's attack. The spirit beast wrapped around Shalo, however, was completely exposed to Uchiha Madara's dual-element resonance magic!
With the resonance of two types of magic, the magic mirror would fail. The massive spirit beast took Uchiha Madara's heavy blow, and its body shuddered violently!
"Still not dead..." Uchiha Madara shouted. "Then take my second move! Reprise of Light and Water!"
The wind and lightning had only just finished bombarding it when a huge pillar of water appeared above Shalo. This time, the enormous spirit beast could no longer hold on, and its tentacles loosened!
Its true form finally emerged faintly before everyone's eyes! It was a massive spirit beast as tall as a three-story building. Waving dozens of claws, it roared ferociously at them. Uchiha Madara raised Leonie's Blade and leaped forward, slashing at it. But the giant spirit beast reacted with remarkable speed, sweeping three claws at Uchiha Madara's body and sending him flying to the ground!
Its claws immediately reached into Shalo again! Yerudu was there, watching the fierce battle and trembling uncontrollably! But soon, it was the spirit beast that trembled—using a nearby building to spring off, Uchiha Madara lunged before the beast once more. He swung Leonie's Blade at another of its tentacles—defending through attack, striking at the enemy to force a rescue!
Uchiha Madara cut off one of the spirit beast's tentacles. In excruciating pain, it hastily pulled back its three tentacles, never touching Yerudu!
Captain Thomas and Mitchell had no resonance magic to bolster them. They could only hold their ground defensively and were unable to attack.
