The next day, when Uchiha Madara and Lloyd woke up, they found themselves being stared at by a huge crowd as though they were animals in a zoo.
Uchiha Madara waved his hand. "What are you looking at? Nothing to see here. Move along."
He waved his hands, shooing away the people who were watching him.
However, Lloyd was still asleep, his whole body draped over Uchiha Madara's chest like a monkey. Uchiha Madara looked down, then forcefully peeled the sleeping Lloyd off himself. Only then did the crowd finally leave amid laughter.
Blushing furiously, Uchiha Madara brought the newly awakened, utterly bewildered Lloyd near the registration area for the World Martial Arts Tournament. "Um, we registered for the tournament yesterday. When does the first round start today?"
The old man in charge of registration froze for a moment. "It already started. You haven't gone to your match yet?"
Uchiha Madara was startled. They had actually slept for that long? They had even overslept beside the tournament arena!
Just then, they heard the host in the arena shout loudly, "Group One, Match Four! Lloyd versus Mr. Hogru, known as Giant Hammer Hogru!"
Uchiha Madara hurriedly grabbed Lloyd and shouted, "Hey, hey! Wake up already! It's your match!"
Lloyd lifted his head, stared blankly for a moment, then flopped back onto Uchiha Madara's back.
"Llooooyd!"
Uchiha Madara simply grabbed Lloyd and threw him straight onto the arena. Lloyd rolled several times, banging his head painfully before finally waking up. Rubbing his head, he stood and complained pitifully, "Master, how can you treat your disciple like that?"
At that moment, Giant Hammer Hogru, standing opposite Lloyd, burst into laughter. "My first opponent is just some little brat? Then this is a guaranteed win! Hahaha!"
