Very soon, Vegeta and Piccolo arrived at the artificial structure on the binary planet. They had no idea what the structure before them actually was, but they knew that it might allow them to find the Dragon Balls.
The Dragon Ball Scouter also indicated the possibility that a Dragon Ball was there. This possibility overjoyed Vegeta and Piccolo. They had originally thought the Dragon Ball was inside that black planet, but apparently, that was not the case at all.
However, even here, the Dragon Ball Scouter showed that it was not far away. Yet strangely, the dot representing the Dragon Ball was rather small. It looked as though it was not on the ground. If there was something mysterious about this artificial structure, perhaps they could use it to locate the Dragon Ball?
"Vegeta, come look! There's a door here!" Piccolo suddenly shouted. Vegeta looked in the direction of his voice and, sure enough, there was a door in that temple-like structure, leading underground!
"We're going in." Vegeta said coldly. "Stay close to me. If anything dangerous happens, be ready to fight."
Piccolo nodded and followed Vegeta inside. The temple's entrance led underground beneath the planet. Though the surface was covered in craters and appeared devoid of life, if life lived underground, they might see something unexpected.
If there was no life, then what use were the Dragon Balls?
The two descended roughly several dozen meters before they saw an even larger door before them. It was a massive stone door, covered in messy drawings that looked man-made. The images seemed to depict intelligent life reproducing, enough to make anyone blush at a glance. Without bothering with anything else, Vegeta strode to the door and shoved it hard.
