He had thought he would surely meet the same fate, but he never expected the human before him to let him go. It was simply too unbelievable.
"We won't keep you any longer. If you're interested, you can come visit our intelligence organization. As neighbors, I hope we can get along well in the future," Uchiha Madara said.
Uchiha Madara stood to see them off. The fishman elder and general exchanged a glance and rose as well.
Just as the two reached the door, Scenery stepped in front of them and blocked their path. "Sorry, but you can't leave yet."
The two had been wondering how Uchiha Madara could possibly let them go. Scenery's appearance made things feel normal again.
"You killed so many humans. I doubt even you yourselves remember exactly how many. And you still think you can leave?" Scenery asked.
"I knew you wouldn't let us off so easily. Since we were captured by you today, you can deal with us however you wish," the fishman elder said. "And I might as well tell you this: we fishmen have never feared humans, even now that we've been captured by you."
Holding some tea leaves, Scenery handed them to the fishman elder and said with a smile, "You misunderstand, Octopus Big Brother. We'll be neighbors from now on. I came to give you some tea—the tea you just drank. As old neighbors, we should visit each other often in the future."
"I'm not an octopus!" the fishman elder said angrily. "How could such a lowly creature possibly look like me?!"
The two fishmen had not expected the person stopping them to be giving them a gift. They looked at each other, unsure what to do.
"Just take it. It's one of our human specialties. Bring it back and
