So instead of continuing down the road at a leisurely pace, he shot forward in an instant like a Black Shadow.
Xing En was studying the ring the old dwarf had given him. He had yet to discover what it did, but judging by the old man's expression—as though he were carving off his own flesh—it had to be something valuable.
But he had no idea how to use it or what exactly it could do.
Xing En looked at the road ahead and quickened his pace.
After speeding onward for a long while, Uchiha Madara finally caught sight of a city in the distance.
Uchiha Madara said helplessly, "Even at this speed, it took so long. Did that kid Xing En miscalculate the distance? I hope he didn't get the route to Winterfort wrong."
Only then did Uchiha Madara remember Xing En saying that he had no sense of direction. If that was true, then he really would have to ask someone else for directions to Winterfort.
By the time Uchiha Madara entered the city, it was already late. Looking at the time, he thought that he should find somewhere to stay first. He could plan the rest of his journey that night and set out early the next morning.
As he thought about this, Uchiha Madara looked up at the sky. Though the sun was setting and darkness was gradually falling, since he would not be leaving until tomorrow, he felt he still had plenty of time.
Ever since arriving in this world, Uchiha Madara had always felt pressed for time. Never before had he felt as though he had so much of it as he did today.
It had been a long time since Uchiha Madara had felt so relaxed. Since he was in no hurry anyway,
