"It's not just the drake's eyes." Uchiha Madara said to Belaque. "Didn't you notice that my eyes changed color too?"
"That was exactly what I wanted to ask. I only caught a glimpse, but I clearly saw that your eyes were the same as the drake's—red like blood. Is there some connection between them?" Belaque asked.
"My name is Uchiha Madara, and I am a member of the Uchiha Clan." Uchiha Madara smiled. "We are human, though we are born somewhat different from ordinary humans. Under certain conditions, we awaken a particular bloodline within ourselves."
"When that bloodline awakens, our eyes turn red with patterns in them. These eyes allow humans to see illusions and animals to be controlled," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"I've never heard of such a miraculous race on the Elzeran Continent." Belaque looked at Uchiha Madara. "This already goes beyond humanity, doesn't it? You're simply another race that happens to look like humans."
