"Frost Autumn City would become an abandoned city sooner or later. It was only a matter of time. The ecosystem hadn't been completely destroyed yet, but if it kept getting colder at this rate, that would happen soon enough," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"You make it sound so convincing, but I don't think you've ever been right about anything. Don't use the things from your world to judge our Elzeran Continent. Those are two completely different matters," Belaque said to Uchiha Madara.
"Nature has always been fair," Uchiha Madara said.
After walking for some distance, the two of them indeed saw a brightly lit inn in the small city.
"We found it." Belaque said happily, "We've finally reached our destination."
"Sorry, but we're only halfway there," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"This place is practically a second life to me," Belaque said. "I really felt like I was about to freeze to death while we were up in the sky today."
As soon as they entered the inn, a wave of warmth washed over them.
Belaque basked in the warmth, as though she had stepped out of harsh winter and into spring. Her whole body felt indescribably comfortable.
The innkeeper looked at the two lightly dressed people and said, "May I ask, you are...?"
"Good wine, good food, and good rooms," Belaque said to the innkeeper. "The two of us are staying here. Your inn is really warm."
"You two are dressed so lightly. You must be in excellent health. I thought you were members of the Demon Clan as well," the innkeeper said with a smile.
Uchiha Madara looked at the innkeeper. He had gray skin, yellow eyes, and did not seem very old.
"You're from the Demon Clan?" Uchiha Madara asked, looking at the innkeeper.
