Belaque looked at this, then slowly rose to her feet and said to the little boy wreathed in black mist, "Hello, little boy. We're back again."
Uchiha Madara looked at the little boy. He was different from ordinary demonized creatures. Madara had seen two demonized humans before; their skin had been completely blackened, and their facial features could no longer be seen.
But this little boy was exactly as he had been when they left, with no apparent changes. The only difference was the black mist rising from his body.
Seeing the little boy's innocent and adorable appearance, Uchiha Madara still could not believe that he had truly been completely demonized.
The little boy looked at Uchiha Madara and Belaque with terror in his eyes.
"Such a beautiful Mirror Lake, and you turned it black. You really aren't a good, obedient child," Belaque said.
"Where is your father? Why did you kill him?" Uchiha Madara asked the little boy.
"I'm hungry," the little boy said.
Listening to the little boy's voice, Uchiha Madara found it strange. The voice was muddled and mixed, nothing like a child's voice.
"That's quite a good reason. But I suppose you don't even think of him as your father anymore. After all, you're just a monster now, no longer your father's child," Uchiha Madara said.
"I miss my mother. Haven't you seen my mother? Do you know where she is?" the little boy asked Uchiha Madara and Belaque.
"Actually, I'd like to know where she is too. If you're willing to tell me, I'm willing to take you with me to find her," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"Don't lie to him at a time like this," Belaque said to Uchiha Madara. "He still has memories, still has feelings, and still knows to miss
