"The Hunter Association?" The City Lord took the letter and thought for a moment. "I have no dealings with the Hunter Association. Why would they send me such a mysterious letter, and have you deliver it, Aunt?"
"I'm only delivering the letter, not writing it. If you want to know what it says, just open it yourself when no one is around." Belaque said with a smile.
"The last person to send me a letter was the City Lord of Eternal Sun Royal City. Now it's someone from the Hunter Association." The City Lord pondered. "Quite a long time has passed in between."
"You've been staying in Winterfort, so there are many things happening on the Elzeran Continent that you don't know about. I have a feeling that our Elzeran Continent is about to fall into chaos." Belaque said.
"I have that feeling too. One of the Four Great Magical Beasts has been asleep for who knows how many years, and now there are signs of it awakening. That alone is a very bad warning." the City Lord said.
"I just hope that thing wakes up after I've peacefully enjoyed my old age. Otherwise, a Winterfort City Lord who has never committed a single misdeed might end up being written into history." The City Lord said with a laugh.
"That would be a good thing. You should be happy about it." Belaque said to the City Lord. "The City Lord of Winterfort sacrifices himself for his people."
"I haven't even reached that day yet. Don't start arranging rumors about me already." the City Lord said gloomily.
The City Lord handed the letter to Carter Binda. "Open it and see what's written inside."
Carter Binda's fingertip turned white, and he drew a line across the letter. The magically sealed letter was
