Uchiha Madara said goodbye to the city lord and returned to his room.
After so many days of traveling through the cold, Uchiha Madara found it truly pleasant to finally have such a warm place to rest.
"Winterfort really is the kind of place that makes people never want to leave, especially with temperatures like this," Uchiha Madara muttered to himself as he lay on the bed.
By then, Belaque and Carter Binda were already sound asleep. Looking at the moon outside the window and thinking of his hometown, Uchiha Madara gradually drifted off as well.
At noon the next day, after everyone had eaten, the four of them gathered together.
Carter Binda said to the city lord, "The three of us can go. You don't need to come with us. Something like this doesn't require the lord of Winterfort to personally set out."
"If it's just the three of you going, I really can't help worrying," the city lord said with a smile. "If it were anything else, I'd let you go. But this is a Magic Stone—the most miraculous thing on the Elzeran Continent. I can't let the three of you risk yourselves."
"Winterfort can't be without its city lord, Third Fatty," Belaque said to him. "A leader can't be absent no matter what. You're the heart of Winterfort."
"Belaque is right. Really, as long as you tell the two of us where it is, we can go by ourselves. We're already very grateful that you can give us an exact location," Uchiha Madara said with a smile to Carter Binda and the city lord.
