Uchiha Madara placed one hand against the trunk. The moment his hand touched the tree, he immediately understood what Belaque and Carter Binda had meant.
The inside of this tree was not structured like a plant's. He could clearly sense something flowing through it, and that flow felt like blood moving through veins in a human body.
Uchiha Madara withdrew his hand and said, "It is indeed as you said. The inside of this tree is alive, but it's not that a person has been sealed inside it."
"Then what's going on?" Carter Binda asked. "If there's no one inside, why does it have the physiological characteristics of a human?"

All three of them watched intently, wanting to know what exactly was inside the tree.
"You're planning to peel the person right out of the tree, aren't you?" Carter Binda said to Uchiha Madara.
"This tree only has certain physiological characteristics of a human, but I don't think it is actually human. Still, one thing is certain: both of these trees are alive," Uchiha Madara said.
