Just as Uchiha Madara was wondering about this, countless green dots suddenly glimmered with an eerie light in the darkness ahead.
Uchiha Madara knew they had to be animal eyes. Only nocturnal creatures had eyes like that. Were these the Leopard Spiders Xing En had mentioned?

"What's so different about them? Didn't the name describe them clearly enough?" Xing En said with a smile. "Leopard Spider, Leopard Spider—it's a fusion of a leopard and a spider. What's so hard to imagine about that?"
"The hardest part to imagine is why those two animals would fuse into one in the first place. How could they possibly have any blood relation?" Uchiha Madara said helplessly.
