"Even if they were incompletely evolved humans, they must have evolved more completely than monkeys." Uchiha Madara thought for a moment, then said, "To actually be exterminated by monkeys—now that really is a case of atavism."
"What do you mean?" Xing En asked, looking at Uchiha Madara.
"The civilization on your Elzeran Continent is still far too underdeveloped. There's too much knowledge beyond your understanding. Even if I told you now, you wouldn't get it." Uchiha Madara smiled at Xing En.
"And simply put?" Xing En asked.
"Simply put, all of us evolved from a single cell. After countless years of adapting to our environment, we gradually became what we are today," Uchiha Madara said.
"And those incompletely evolved people you mentioned may not have evolved incompletely at all. It could simply be that they lived in a different environment from yours, which is why they turned out that way." Uchiha Madara smiled.
"But the people of Elzeran Continent are different from those in your world. In the beginning, we were created by the Moon Goddess, and only gradually became what we are now," Xing En said to Uchiha Madara.
"I know what you want to say, but that is only because of your faith. If you cast aside that faith, what do you think you are?" Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"It's impossible to cast aside faith. Faith is what proves the essence of a person's life," Xing En said.
"That's where our views differ. Every race on your Elzeran Continent has its own faith. That is a good thing—faith can bring people many things," Uchiha Madara said.
"But one must admit that faith can sometimes be very dangerous, because it can control people's thoughts. If someone gains control over faith, the consequences would be unimaginable," Uchiha Madara
