The Chocobos raced along, trailing clouds of dust behind them.
Although Xing En had not been much help, Uchiha Madara was still grateful to him. If it had not been for Xing En, he might never have discovered that the Magic Stones were different.
The Magic Stones must have held some special significance ever since they first appeared on the Ezerlan Continent. Now that their appearances differed, each form surely corresponded to something special as well.
It seemed these Magic Stones held many secrets. Letting Xing En take one away for study had probably been the right choice.
Besides, Xing En was the best candidate. He was practically immune to Magic Stones; to him, they were nothing more than ordinary rocks, so he could study one however he pleased.
Still, Uchiha Madara was somewhat worried. Given Xing En's personality, if he somehow studied his Magic Stone into oblivion one day, all of Madara's hard work over so long would have been for nothing.
It took Uchiha Madara and Xing En even longer than before to reach the owner's shop.
The owner spotted Uchiha Madara and Xing En from far away and hurried out to greet them.
"This owner is really putting himself out. He ran all this way to welcome us. Still, at least we did not let him down—we solved the safety problem here," Uchiha Madara said to Xing En.
"The owner is actually not a bad person. He may seem a little harsh, but in an environment like this, he has kept his little shop spotless. You can tell he is a decent man," Xing En said with a smile.
"That is not an inn at all. It is his home. Of course he keeps his own home clean. Do you think he is that old dwarf from
