"She didn't tell me that. Someone else did." Alustriel smiled. "Can you let me take this thing back with me?"
"You can. It's of no use to us anyway, but no one can look directly at the Magic Stone with their own eyes. It's a very strange stone," Di Sifeier said.
"Anyone who tries to take it away will be bewitched by it and turn into a monster," Di Sifeier said.
"I've heard about that too." Alustriel smiled at Di Sifeier. "It really is quite a remarkable stone. Interesting."
"So, princess, you'd better not touch it. What use would our elves have for the Magic Stone?" Di Sifeier asked, looking at Alustriel.
"It isn't something we elves want. It's something that man wants—the person who came here with me," Alustriel said.
"Why give such an important thing to him?" Di Sifeier said.
"It doesn't seem all that important to me. It's not a good thing," Alustriel said.
"Since the princess wants it, I'll send someone to retrieve it now," Di Sifeier said.
"You're still sending someone? No one can take this thing away. My luck is just a little better—I found that I'm actually immune to the Magic Stone," Alustriel said.
"Princess, do you possess the power to control the Magic Stone?" Di Sifeier asked, looking at Alustriel.
"Do you seem to have some misunderstanding about this?" Alustriel said with a smile. "There's no such power to control the Magic Stone."
"Wasn't Kaguolet hunted down because he possessed such a power?" Di Sifeier asked.
"You really do know a lot. But that was a lie, and we were the ones who spread that rumor," Alustriel said with a smile.
