Uchiha Madara smiled and looked behind him. He was all too familiar with this—it was the Substitution Technique. The real Dales Yi was already behind them, smiling.
Sure enough, just as Uchiha Madara had expected, only a few scattered bones remained on the ground. Dales Yi's body was nowhere to be seen.
"We have no grudge against each other. This is even the first time we've met, yet you immediately tried to take my life. Is this how your peace-loving elves do things?" Dales Yi asked.
Alustriel turned to Dales Yi and said, "You necromancers who deny the souls of the dead their rest—death is where you belong."
"Death is everyone's destination. We merely make use of individuals who are already dead instead of wasting them," Dales Yi said.
"We only use dead corpses, not living people. By that standard alone, I'd say we're rather kind," Dales Yi said with a smile.
"You should explain that to the dead yourself," Alustriel said.
In an instant, Alustriel appeared before Dales Yi with her sword drawn. At that moment, the two skeletons that had attacked Uchiha Madara and Alustriel earlier stepped in front of Dales Yi, staring at Alustriel with their hollow eye sockets.
"Why are you here, princess of the elves?" Dales Yi asked as he looked at Alustriel.
"I don't know either. But perhaps I was destined to kill you here," Alustriel said.
"I don't want to fight you, but if you keep pressing me, don't blame me for laying hands on a woman," Dales Yi said.
"I won't blame you. Ever since the Birth of the Elzeran Continent, we elves and necromancers like you have been mortal enemies. I will make sure evil people like you vanish from the Elzeran Continent for good," Alustriel said.
