"You just follow behind me. If there's any danger, I'll protect you," Uchiha Madara said to Dales Yi.
After the three of them had discussed it, they lined up and entered the black cave.
The torches in their hands illuminated the small cave. It was pitch-black inside, with nothing there.
Yet precisely because it was so empty inside, it made them feel deeply uneasy, as though something might suddenly emerge from the darkness.
Coupled with the frightening things Helunaixing had said earlier, Dales Yi now felt like even the slightest rustle could scare him half to death.
Uchiha Madara also kept watch over every movement within the cave. Though he could not pinpoint what was wrong with it, everything appeared plain and uneventful, with no danger in sight.
But if it was something that even a deeply unfathomable person like Helunaixing found troublesome, then what kind of existence could it be?
The three of them proceeded with great caution, especially Helunaixing at the front.
Although Helunaixing was leading the way, he moved the slowest, advancing carefully step by step. Seeing how cautious he was, Uchiha Madara and Dales Yi behind him grew tense as well.
"Uncle," Dales Yi whispered to Uchiha Madara in front of him. "Have you noticed anything unusual?"
"No. It's just an ordinary cave. There's no danger for now," Uchiha Madara said.
"But don't you think the atmosphere here is a little too strange?" Dales Yi asked.
"There's basically no problem, but I do think it's a little too quiet here. Ever since earlier, the three of us have been talking as we walked," Uchiha Madara said.
"But after entering this cave, it suddenly went silent. It feels a little unnatural," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"Is it really as simple as there being no sound?
