Uchiha Madara and the other two stood beneath a patch of shadow, looking up at the enormous snake before them. This creature could no longer truly be described as a snake.
Aside from its long, slender body, which still retained the characteristics of a snake, its head no longer resembled one at all.
"This is a bit troublesome. I don't know whether the three of us working together can kill this thing," Helunaixing said.
"But even if the three of us manage to kill it, there's probably only one such creature on the entire Elzeran Continent," Helunaixing said.
"And only through an incredibly unlikely coincidence did a little snake slowly cultivate itself into this form. Who knows how many years that took?" Helunaixing said.
"If we kill it now, wouldn't that be a little too much of a waste?" Helunaixing turned to Uchiha Madara and Dales Yi beside him.
"At a time like this, instead of worrying about whether the two of us live or die, you're concerned about that giant snake?" Dales Yi said.
"Old man, have you gotten senile with age?" Dales Yi said to Helunaixing.
"We still can't be sure whether it wants to kill us, or whether we want to kill it." Uchiha Madara smiled. "But I've never wanted anything blocking my way home."
The giant snake gave the three of them no time to think. In the instant it turned, it was already before them.
The giant snake opened its bloody maw and bit directly down at the three people on the ground.
With a thunderous bang, Uchiha Madara and Dales Yi watched the giant snake seem to slam into an invisible wall. A crack appeared out of nowhere in the air, and the entire space had been shattered by the impact.
