"How could you say that? Aren't the three of us good friends?" Dales Yi asked in surprise.
"The three of us never said we were good friends," Uchiha Madara replied to Dales Yi with a smile.
"Good friends aren't made overnight. They're built on years of friendship, so the relationship between the three of us can only be called friendship for now," Uchiha Madara said.
"It hasn't reached the point where we would risk our lives for one another," Uchiha Madara said.
"You're just too innocent, kid." Helunaixing shook his head and looked at Dales Yi. "I never expected that after living in No Man's Land for so many years, you'd be even more innocent than people who live outside."
"That isn't how friendship works. The relationship between the three of us is merely transactional," Helunaixing said.
"To put it plainly, it's more or less like a business deal," Helunaixing said.
"How can you two be like this?" Dales Yi said helplessly to Uchiha Madara and Helunaixing. "I already considered the two of you the good friends I made after setting foot on the Elzeran Continent, but it turns out neither of you saw it that way at all."
"You're still a little too young," Uchiha Madara said.
"In this world, never trust someone too easily. No matter how close you are to someone, you should always keep a trace of suspicion," Uchiha Madara said.
"For example, even though the old man has told us her true identity, I'm still somewhat suspicious of her," Uchiha Madara said.
"Same here," Helunaixing said with a smile.
"I really can't stand the two of you more and more," Dales Yi said, shaking his head helplessly.
"Enough pointless talk. Hurry up and summon your Four-Winged Bird. We need to head back now," Uchiha Madara
