"I never expected to end up alone again." Uchiha Madara muttered to himself. "This journey has really been dramatic."
"So where should I go next?" Uchiha Madara took out his map and looked over the many crooked symbols marked across it.
The noisy surroundings from moments ago had now fallen completely silent. There had been three people in the temple just a moment ago, yet in the blink of an eye, only Uchiha Madara remained.
Although Uchiha Madara disliked crowds and preferred the freedom of being alone, suddenly finding himself by himself still left him with an inexplicable sense of loss.
Holding the map, Uchiha Madara compared it with a sheet of paper Xing En had written for him and quickly settled on his next destination.
"Golden Canyon." Uchiha Madara looked at the map in his hand. "This place seems to be the closest."
After deciding on a direction, Uchiha Madara tucked the map into his pocket and left the temple without looking back, heading toward his destination.
Back when he had ridden Dales Yi's Four-Winged Bird, Uchiha Madara had seen from the sky just how vast No Man's Land was. If he wanted to leave this place and walk all the way to Golden Canyon on his own two legs, it would take a very long time.
So the best option now was to find some form of transportation.
Uchiha Madara was not sure whether there were any honest businesses in No Man's Land, but when he thought of the tavern owner, he figured he might as well try his luck.
Though he was not sure whether that shop sold transportation animals, the place seemed peaceful and prosperous, so he thought there might be some.
Alone once more, he set out on his journey.
