"Leave our country tomorrow, and do it quickly. We don't have people like you here—still struggling to make a living at your age." With that, Ximaida left.
Uchiha Madara and Harinod exchanged a glance, smiled at each other, then pushed open the door and entered the room.
"It seems they've treated the two of us quite well. Such a large room, such a nice environment." Harinod looked around and said with a smile.
"It looks like no one has stayed here for many years." Uchiha Madara looked around as well. "This room seems to have been specially prepared for guests, but this country may not have had visitors in a very long time."
"Maybe it's because every guest who came here was killed by them," Harinod said.
"Young brother, you need to understand something. In this world, nothing is darker than a woman's heart," Harinod said.
"You seem to have a lot of feelings about that." Uchiha Madara smiled at Harinod. "What kind of experience gave you such an opinion of women? I'm rather curious too."
"Once you get married and settle down, you'll understand. In this world, women embody both extremes," Harinod said.
"The most vicious and the most gentle." Harinod smiled.
"I probably won't get the chance to experience that," Uchiha Madara said.
"I've realized that whether it's friends or lovers, neither is as good as being alone. One more person means one more attachment, and more importantly, one more trouble," Uchiha Madara said.
"When did you realize that? I don't think that reasoning holds up at all," Harinod said with a smile.
"I realized it after meeting you. Before I met you, I felt my friends could help me a great deal. But after meeting you, all you've brought me is trouble." Uchiha Madara smiled at Harinod.
