"This is the second lesson I'm teaching you, young lady," Uchiha Madara said with a smile. "No matter when it is, no matter how confident you are, never speak too absolutely."
Ximaida remembered that just moments ago, Uchiha Madara had been sticking his rear up, holding a little tool as he slowly dug through the dirt.
Now, looking at the black flames in the canyon, his expression was like that of a child who had spotted a toy.
"You really are adorable," Ximaida said as she looked at Uchiha Madara.
"What's with that..." Uchiha Madara said speechlessly.
Uchiha Madara had not expected Ximaida to say something like that at a time like this. At his age, he was actually being called adorable by a child.
"So what do we do now?" Ximaida asked Uchiha Madara.
"It's not what we do now. It's what I do now," Uchiha Madara said to Ximaida with a smile.
"I knew it. You don't want me to go with you again, do you? So what you said earlier doesn't count anymore?" Ximaida said.
"You can see the black flames below now, right?" Uchiha Madara said to Ximaida. "If you don't want to jump down there and turn into roast duck, then don't follow me down."
"I think that as long as you can go down, I can go down too," Ximaida said.
Uchiha Madara truly did not want to take Ximaida down with him now. He still had no idea what these black flames were.
He did not know whether it was dangerous down there either. He was not even sure he could stand safely below, much less Ximaida.
"I think you'd better not come down with me. Look, it's nothing but a sea of fire below," Uchiha Madara said.
"I'm worried about your safety
