Ximaida understood what Uchiha Madara meant. This old man still had reservations about carrying her down.
Uchiha Madara nodded gravely, then scooped Ximaida into his arms.
Then the two of them plunged from the edge of the great canyon like a meteor.
Ximaida shouted excitedly in Uchiha Madara's arms. She had never experienced anything like this before.
Uchiha Madara was helpless as well. On one hand, he wanted to keep his distance from Ximaida, but on the other, he was afraid that if he held her too loosely, she would fall.
So Uchiha Madara awkwardly held Ximaida as the two of them fell together.
"If we jump down from this height like this, we'll definitely be smashed to death," Ximaida said from Uchiha Madara's arms.
Ximaida had assumed that if Uchiha Madara took her down, he would fly or float down. She had never expected him to simply jump.
No matter how good Uchiha Madara's jumping ability was, falling from such a height would definitely turn him into a pile of mush.
"Don't tell me you have no plan at all and are just relying on luck to get down?" Ximaida asked Uchiha Madara with a speechless expression.
"What do you mean? You don't believe in my strength?" Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"You've already entrusted your life to me. What else do you have to worry about?" Uchiha Madara asked with a smile.
"Precisely because I've entrusted my life to you, you have to take responsibility for me. Why do I feel like you have no idea what to do now?" Ximaida said.
"It's not that I have no plan. It's just not time yet," Uchiha Madara said.
"Just follow me without worry. I can't guarantee the lives of those people, but I'll definitely protect yours," Uchiha Madara
