"But at the height of his fame, he suddenly withdrew from Elzeran Continent," Ximaida said.

"But can you really be sure that this pitch-black person is Anfa, that respected old mage?" Ximaida still found it hard to believe.

"Considering what he looks like now, how did you identify him? Does he still have any distinguishing features?" Ximaida asked Uchiha Madara with an incredulous look.

"I only thought his build looked familiar, but the reason I'm so certain is the staff he's holding," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.

After hearing Uchiha Madara's words, Ximaida looked ahead.

Sure enough, the man was holding a staff that looked like a tree branch.

"If you hadn't mentioned it, I would've thought it was just an ordinary branch," Ximaida said.

"I've forgotten who told me before, but it's an incredibly magical thing. The fire on that branch supposedly never goes out," Uchiha Madara said.

That did seem to be the case. Uchiha Madara had indeed forgotten who had told him, but he still had some impression of this magical object.

"This is the Fire God Tree," Ximaida told Uchiha Madara.

"This is common knowledge.
