"Once I'm done asking my questions, I'll give you the staff in my hand," Uchiha Madara said.
"Make it quick," the burly man said impatiently.
Uchiha Madara pointed at the black cavern beside them. "What exactly is this thing?"
"Didn't I already tell you? This thing is the product of black magic. You mages should know more about this than anyone," the burly man said.
"All right." Uchiha Madara nodded.
"I can tell that it's a product of black magic, too," Uchiha Madara said.
"What I want to know now is, what does this black magic do? Why would anyone create this kind of black magic?" Uchiha Madara asked.
"What does that have to do with you?" the burly man asked.
"Let me advise you: it's best not to ask about things that have nothing to do with you. Otherwise, you could easily lose your life," the burly man said as he looked at Uchiha Madara.
After hearing him, Uchiha Madara tossed the magic staff in his hand onto the ground.
"Since we've already settled the terms between us, I'm ready to give this thing to you now," Uchiha Madara said.
"I think you should just tell me honestly. Neither of us is stupid, so there's no need to waste words," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"And," Uchiha Madara said, looking at the burly man, "I hope you understand one thing: ordinary lies won't fool me. You'd better not lie."
The burly man knew full well that the person before him was no fool.
