"Everyone came here just to make money. No one ever cared what they had to do for it," Korulefu said.
"I think we'd even be willing to kill and burn now, considering there's so much money at stake. It's too great a temptation." Korulefu smiled at Uchiha Madara.
Uchiha Madara had originally wanted to tell Korulefu what their purpose was this time, and just how dangerous the mission would be.
But Uchiha Madara now felt there was no need. No matter what he said, Korulefu would not back down. Neither would any of the people who had come here. They had long since steeled themselves for it.
"Money really is a good thing." Uchiha Madara smiled and shook his head.
"We're already among the lucky ones. The people who came later didn't even manage to sign up. They're the ones who must really be regretting it," Korulefu said.
"I heard people started coming here before dawn," Korulefu said with a smile.
Uchiha Madara did not know what else to say. He simply felt that making so many people sacrifice so much for money was truly not worth it.
"All right, let's get some proper rest. We'll have to press on starting tomorrow," Uchiha Madara said.
Uchiha Madara looked at Korulefu. "With a body like yours, I'm honestly worried you'll give out before we even find the place."
