"I don't have any particular plans. I'm the same as you," Kenping Yuelai said with a smile.
"You're not the same as us," Uchiha Madara said.
"We were merely hired by you people, but you are the real members of the Hunter Association," Uchiha Madara said with a smile. "So we're just temporary workers."
"Of course, when the time comes, we'll probably be the ones sent in first. After all, temporary workers are cannon fodder," Uchiha Madara said to Kenping Yuelai.
"Why do we have to fight?" Kenping Yuelai looked at Uchiha Madara and asked. "Isn't there some better way?"
Uchiha Madara felt a trace of icy chill in Kenping Yuelai's words.
"That doesn't sound like something an assassin would say," Uchiha Madara said.
"Have you killed few people on the Elzeran Continent all these years?" Uchiha Madara said with a smile. "Why have you suddenly become so compassionate now?"
"I had no choice. Do you think killing people is my hobby?" Kenping Yuelai said.
"Probably not. Personally, I think killing people is a very painful thing," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"But this is your plan. I don't know what your role is, but I know what ours is," Uchiha Madara said.
"We are cannon fodder, sent in wave after wave to wear down the Ice Nine-Tails' energy. Then, in the end, the people from your Hunter Association will go in and clean up the mess," Uchiha Madara said to Kenping Yuelai with a smile.
Uchiha Madara was certain that was how it was. Otherwise, why would they have gathered so much cannon fodder?
But Uchiha Madara noticed that Kenping Yuelai actually looked somewhat surprised by his words.
"You don't believe me?" Uchiha Madara asked with a smile.
Uchiha Madara felt that Kenping Yuelai should have known better.
