"If I were you, I'd advise you to leave while you still can," Chi Mingyisha said.
"I know what you want to say." Uchiha Madara smiled. "But there's no turning back once the arrow has left the bow. Since I've already done this, what else can I do?"
"I hope you succeed," Chi Mingyisha said. "The only thing I know right now is that if those infected people hurt you, you'll become one of them too."
"So that's how it spreads." Uchiha Madara thought for a moment. "Do you know where that necromancer is now?"
"I don't," Chi Mingyisha said. "I've only heard of him. No one has ever actually seen where that necromancer is."
"I don't even know if this story is true or not. It's entirely possible that there is no necromancer at all, and it's just a rumor that got passed around," Chi Mingyisha told Uchiha Madara.
"That possibility can't be ruled out," Uchiha Madara said.
"But we'll find out what's really going on soon enough." The three of them had now arrived at the entrance to the palace.
"It went this smoothly?" Uchiha Madara asked in puzzlement. "I thought we'd run into plenty of people along the way, but there wasn't a single one."
Uchiha Madara had thought that since everyone in Pine Blossom Town had contracted this infectious disease, there would surely be no shortage of people coming to welcome them. Yet the empty space before him felt strange.
"Of course there's no one," Chi Mingyisha said. "The Master has already given the order that no one is to stand in our way."
