"My hands don't have electricity on them, do they? Why did you react so strongly?" the princess asked Qiying Fofeng.
"It's nothing, nothing." Qiying Fofeng replied somewhat flusteredly.
"You look like you're just a little too nervous." The princess smiled. "There are only the two of us in the room now. What is there to be nervous about?"
"Are you embarrassed because you saw me?" the princess asked.
"No, no." Qiying Fofeng looked extremely tense. His mind had probably gone blank, and he did not know what to say.
"If you're nervous, have some water." The princess spoke to Qiying Fofeng.
Qiying Fofeng nodded. Just as he was about to drink, another knock suddenly sounded from outside the room.
"Who is it this time?" the princess said helplessly. "What is going on today? Why does everyone like coming to my room in the middle of the night?"
"Has someone else come before?" Qiying Fofeng asked, looking at the princess.
"No, no." The princess smiled. "How could anyone be like you and enjoy coming to a young girl's room in the middle of the night?"
"I'm not like that," Qiying Fofeng explained. "I'm very worried about your safety. I think you must have something difficult to talk about."
"If there was something you did not want to tell those people during the day, you can tell me. I will help you solve your difficulties," Qiying Fofeng said to the princess.
"Thank you for your kindness, but I do not have any difficulties. You know my status in this country—what difficulties could I possibly have?" The princess smiled, stood up, and went to open the door.
After opening the door, the princess found no one outside.
"How strange." The princess closed the door and walked back inside.
"There was no one outside?"
