Uchiha Madara was utterly speechless. It seemed that, as an outsider who did not understand the rules here, everything he did looked different from what everyone else did.
"What's so funny? Didn't I come up?" Uchiha Madara said.
"So you really are competing for the first time. I'd advise you to get down early. Blades have no eyes, and I don't want to hurt you," the burly man said.
"That's nothing. Since I came here to compete, I'm naturally prepared for that. I'm just a little puzzled about why so many people are laughing at me," Uchiha Madara said helplessly.
"You may not have competed before, but haven't you watched?" the burly man asked Uchiha Madara.
"Every time you step onto the arena, it's a chance to show yourself off. You can jump up like that, sure, but it's too plain, too basic. There's nothing eye-catching about it," the burly man said.
"It's just a competition. Why make such a big show of it?" Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"But since it's your first time competing, you probably don't have much experience. You're not very old, are you?" the burly man said to Uchiha Madara. "Don't worry. I'll go easy on you."
As soon as the burly man finished speaking, a unified chant rose from beneath the arena: "Kill him! Kill him!"
Uchiha Madara felt even more speechless at their words. It was only a simple competition, so why were these people so bloodthirsty?
"Look, even if I want to spare your life, they don't think that way," the burly man said.
"That's fine. I don't need you to go easy on me either. Just do what you normally do," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"I didn't expect everyone in my group to be youngsters like you. When
