"While you were fighting that young man whose face was covered in bandages, the two of us talked for a while. Although I found what she said unpleasant to hear, I somehow realized I didn't care anymore," Kelana said.
Kelana looked at Uchiha Madara and asked, "Why do you think that is?"
"Maybe you no longer have the same feelings for her that you used to. But I think that should be a good thing for you," Uchiha Madara said.
"Before, you were held back by emotional ties and couldn't move forward. Now you can face life with a smile. That really is a good thing—it's a huge step forward in your life," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
Uchiha Madara had not expected that Kelana seemed to have already moved on from this matter—and in such a short time.
"Think about just a couple of days ago, when the two of us were drinking together. Back then, you really did seem pitiful," Uchiha Madara said.
"But look at you now—strong, brave, and smiling. There's no hurdle in life that you can't overcome, right?" Uchiha Madara asked with a smile.
"I don't know why either. But I know that, before, she was my entire world. Now, though, I keep feeling like she's getting farther and farther away from me—or rather, her weight in my heart is getting lighter and lighter," Kelana said.
"You changed pretty quickly," Uchiha Madara said with a smile.
"Back when we were at the venue, you were practically ready to die. You rushed onto the arena—weren't you thinking of dying for her then? I just didn't expect you to change so quickly," Uchiha Madara said.
"When did you start feeling that she wasn't so important anymore?" Uchiha Madara asked, looking at Kelana.
