Big Ugly Flower was delighted that Uchiha Madara had understood her. She vigorously nodded her huge, ugly blossom to show him that his guess was correct. Then she pointed west and shook her head.
"You mean we can't go west?" Uchiha Madara said.
Big Ugly Flower grew even happier upon hearing Uchiha Madara's words. She felt that she and Uchiha Madara must be fated; he could understand everything she said. With that thought, she excitedly flapped her green leaves.
After learning what he wanted to know, Uchiha Madara turned to Silier, who stood behind him, and gestured for her to come forward.
"Silier, have you rested enough? Does your hand hurt? Do you still want to beat up Big Ugly Flower?" Uchiha Madara asked.
Big Ugly Flower was utterly bewildered. What was going on now? Hadn't Uchiha Madara said he would let her go? Why was he asking this vicious little girl to beat her up again?
Big Ugly Flower was furious and aggrieved. She felt that she had been tricked, and she was angry. She felt she ought to do something more.
"No, I think not. My hand hurts from hitting her, so I don't think I need to beat her up anymore," Silier said.
"Uchiha Madara, let's release Big Ugly Flower. Then we should get back on the road," Silier said.
Oh heavens, Big Ugly Flower felt as though she had heard an angel's voice. Was this really the little girl who had just beaten her until she wailed like a ghost and howled like a wolf? She was simply a little angel.
"Since that's what you think, Silier, we'll let it go," Uchiha Madara said.
"Thank you, Uchiha Madara. You're still as kind as ever," Silier said.
"As long as you're happy, Silier," Uchiha Madara said.
