Nine-Headed Insect told Uchiha Shin the full story.
At the time, Nine-Headed Insect had a fairly good relationship with the Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King. Later, Nine-Headed Insect said that he wanted to travel the world, and the Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King wanted his youngest son to accompany him so he could broaden his horizons.
Nine-Headed Insect had not wanted to bring the youngest son along, but he could not refuse, so he took him with him.
Yet, just a thousand li after they had left Green Wave Pool, the Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King's youngest son died for no apparent reason one night. His neck had been bitten through.
Nine-Headed Insect brought the body back to Green Wave Pool. The Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King was furious and believed that Nine-Headed Insect had killed him, so he became his enemy.
Nine-Headed Insect had tried to explain himself, but the Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King would not listen.
"Then who killed him?" Uchiha Shin asked.
Nine-Headed Insect shook his head. "I'm not sure either. At the time, the Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King's youngest son was resting in a cave. I went out to hunt, and when I returned, he was dead. Moreover, the bite marks on his neck were extremely similar to mine. That was why the Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King insisted that I had killed his son."
After hearing this, Uchiha Shin shook his head as well. The Ten Thousand Saints Dragon King had his reasons for acting this way; he had not accused Nine-Headed Insect without cause.
"You're so powerful. Didn't you notice any powerful figures appearing nearby?" Uchiha Shin asked.
"I didn't find any," Nine-Headed Insect replied.
Uchiha Shin looked at Nine-Headed Insect. "It seems someone framed you, but why would they frame you?"
