Uchiha Shin said, "Elder, isn't the Undying Clan supposed to never die? Then why is your population dwindling?"
Uchiha Shin was greatly puzzled by this question. He had wondered about it ever since he first arrived beneath the Death Sea, but they had been unwilling to speak of it.
The Elder Clan Head looked at Uchiha Shin and gave a bitter smile. "Mystic Spirit King, how could anything in this world live forever? Think of the great god Pangu back then, or Eastern Emperor Taiyi of the ancient Heavenly Court and the gods under his command—didn't they all fall?"
"You spent some time in the Heavenly Court as well. People die there too. This world is only so large. If people never died and their numbers kept growing, then once they reached a certain point, this world would no longer be able to contain them. At that time, the world might be destroyed."
"That is why conflict has always existed within the Three Realms. Many living beings are born, and many die as well."
As Uchiha Shin listened to the Elder Clan Head, he felt that the old man's words did make some sense.
"This is simply a law of nature. Birth, aging, sickness, and death are the norm. Only a very small number can live forever. Even Heavenly Gods have their time of death."

"But what if the Three Realms become peaceful in the future, without any conflict at all?" Uchiha Shin could not help asking.
The Elder Clan Head smiled. "Even if the entire Three Realms enter an age of peace, conflict will still exist. It simply will not be as intense as it is today, nor as obvious."
"Wherever there are people, there will be conflict. That cannot be changed, because everyone
