After Uchiha Shin and the other man left, they headed for the Heavenly Court.
For the time being, he had left the Five-Colored Stone in Cloud Dream Marsh.
He was now going to the Heavenly Court to seek out Lord Lao.
After Wuxin left Spirit Void Island, he passed through the southernmost region of the Western Cattle-Gift Continent on his way back and discovered some Earth Core power. Though there was not much of it, some was better than none.
However, after learning of this, the local villagers refused to allow Wuxin to absorb the Earth Core power, as it would have a tremendous impact on their lives.
They were all ordinary people who needed to farm for a living. The land here was exceedingly fertile, but it was also very scarce.
The crops grown from this land yielded somewhat more than those grown on ordinary soil. Otherwise, there would have been no way to feed all these villagers.
Now that Wuxin wanted to absorb the Earth Core power, the villagers felt it would affect their crops. If the harvest was poor, some of them would starve to death.
But Wuxin did not care about that. He had never regarded ordinary villagers as worthy of his attention.
He directly struck down a group of villagers, leaving them injured on the ground. The surrounding villagers did not dare step forward.
Wuxin could have simply given the villagers some money and had them agree to let him absorb the Earth Core power.
But Wuxin was unwilling to do that. He insisted on using force. He believed himself to be a Heavenly God, and that these ordinary people could only kneel and tremble before him, utterly incapable of standing against him.
When he had been trying to win over Zhou Tang of Spirit
