Taishang Laojun carried the basket as he continued forward, his head lowered as he gathered herbs.
After standing there and pondering for a moment, Uchiha Shin followed Taishang Laojun, thinking as he walked.
"Can't a young man help an old man? Carry this basket!" Taishang Laojun pushed the basket from his back onto Uchiha Shin and had him carry it.
Uchiha Shin smiled helplessly. Taishang Laojun was quite mischievous.
"If you have nothing else to do, help me gather some herbs. This kind—I need a great many of them." Taishang Laojun held up an herb as he spoke to Uchiha Shin.
"What does Laojun need these herbs for? Is it for Wang Xiuxiu?" Uchiha Shin asked.
"It has something to do with Wang Xiuxiu, though some of it does not. When I have nothing to do, I come here to gather herbs. This is Lord Lao Mountain. I cultivated here for a time long ago, and the people here named this mountain in commemoration of that."
Uchiha Shin said nothing further and helped Taishang Laojun gather herbs.
By evening, Taishang Laojun was preparing to leave.
"Laojun, may I ask you for a favor?" Uchiha Shin said to him.
