Uchiha Shin and Goku chatted on Flower Fruit Mountain.
Goku's strength was much more restrained now. With Peach Demon and Uchiha Shin here, he felt far more relaxed.
"Monkey, before long, you'll be going into Taishang Laojun's Eight Trigrams Furnace. Be careful when that time comes. Taishang Laojun's Eight Trigrams Furnace is no simple thing—you need to find a spot where you won't be harmed," Uchiha Shin said as he lay on the grass.
Goku squatted on a nearby rock, cracking sunflower seeds. "I know. Taishang Laojun's Eight Trigrams Furnace is powerful, but it won't be easy for it to burn me to death."
"Yo! Our people are here, Big Brother." The monkey stood and looked westward.
Uchiha Shin sat up and saw a golden glow in the distance. It was the Buddhist Sect's Buddha light.
"Judging from that light, it should be someone important from the Buddhist Sect. Most likely Maitreya Buddha," Uchiha Shin said.
"What's Maitreya Buddha doing here at a time like this? Is he trying to recruit us to deal with Laojun?" The monkey squatted back down.
Uchiha Shin lay down again. Neither of them hurried out to greet Maitreya Buddha, pretending not to have seen him.
"Who knows what the Buddhist Sect is up to? They always act without considering the consequences. The demons they released last time still haven't been dealt with," Uchiha Shin said, clasping his hands behind his head as he gazed at the sky.
"Big Brother, don't worry. Once those demons emerge, Second Brother Yang and I can take another trip to the West Blue and wipe them out," Goku said.
Uchiha Shin smiled. Wiping out the demons would not be so simple.
