The Flame Emperor smiled as well. "After so many years of constant strife in the Three Realms, our hearts have long grown weary. It is better to live in seclusion here and lead a simple life."
Some people in the Three Realms came to the Three Pure Ones' Realm of Void and Nature precisely because they wanted to live in seclusion. If one did not want such a life, did not wish to live so plainly, then coming here would truly be torture.
